Girl, You Only Have One Face

I meant to do this in January to start the year off by showing a bit of progress, but here we are. Some of these pans are recent, while some are old news. It makes me happy to open up a palette or other product and see the signs of use on my makeup - it's been a nice reminder to keep using what I own without constantly wanting to buy more. I have pan showing on: ~ 9 eye shadows ~ 1 setting powder ~ 1 blush ~ 2 highlighters - Lorac Mega Pro 3 - pan on "pink cream" in the top left - Lorac Pro (original) - pan on "white," "cream," "taupe," and "champagne" - Tartelette in Bloom - pan on "charmer," "flower child," "smarty pants," and "firecracker" - Laura Mercier invisible pressed setting powder (DS) - Revlon "naughty nude" blush - NYX "ritualistic" highlighter - Becca "moonstone" highlighter (DS)

Since I'm rotating and using this palette every other week instead of all the time, I haven't made a ton of visible progress. Some of the dips are larger, and I've been enjoying using it when I do my makeup. Anyway, here's a picture: I feel like the dips in "Marina" and "5th Ave" have gotten larger. "NYC" is also looking a bit more used since I use it in the outer corner most days. As a reminder, I'm not making an effort on "Claudia" and most likely "Hollywood". I'm not drawn to using those shades, and I wouldn't feel bad if I moved this out of my collection without using them. The other ones, I want to use until they reach the end of their usable life for me. I may of may not repress the ones I really like (should I get to that point), but I don't think every speck of colored dust has to be used in order for me to have gotten my money's worth out of it. Next month, I hope to hit pan on "

I resisted the Ulta 20% off coupon, which I'm really proud of. I really moved through some skincare last month. I realized that I have a ton of the minis I love so much, so now that I've used up some full sizes I can work on the minis. I also hit pan on a few new shadows (yay!). ~ Viva la Juicy Noir sample - this smelled like the body spray I got bombarded with in high school/middle school locker rooms after gym class. It's a sweet scent, and I would probably like it more if I didn't have that association. ~ Gucci Bloom sample - I loved this, but maybe not on me? Florals make me feel fancy, but they also make me sneeze. I have another sample of this, so we'll see if my opinion changes after that one. ~ Kat von D tattoo liner in "trooper" - This thing lasted me about a year, and was incredible easy to use. I've started to hear some questionable things about Kat von D (as a person, not the brand), so I bought a Clinique liner to replace this one. ~ Belif peat miracle revital eye cream - I thought this actually ma
