Pan that Palette 2018 [Intro]

I think I'm ready to attempt my first Pan that Palette project! I want to tackle the Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Palette by Mario this year. The formula is really soft and I actually enjoy using this palette when I bring it out, I've just been afraid to use it up since it's limited edition. This year, I'm going to try to get over that fear. I have a ton of eye shadow, but only the two eyes - there's room for me to get through the shades I really like since I have other colors in other palettes that I also really like. I plan to use this palette every other week so I can still get some use out of the other eye shadows in my collection. So the updates may not be too exciting. However, I don't really plan to use all of the shades. For example "Hollywood" (top left, light gold) and "Claudia" (top right, blue) - meh. I also really like "Lula" (lower left, taupe) in the crease, and don't get a ton of use out of the 2 matte shades

December 2017 Empties

Last empties of 2017! While I did a lot of purchasing, it was nice to keep track of everything I was actually able to use up. For 2018, I hope to do more using than buying, which is why I'm doing my reading challenge thing. Like usual, I'll post my opinions beneath the picture. ~ Drunk Elephant C Firma Day Serum - I really liked this when I first got it, then I stopped using it for a while and it may have gone bad. It turned my face orange towards the end. I like having a Vitamin C in my routine, but I think I'll look for other options after I finish up the travel size I have of this. ~ L'Occitane Vanilla Bouquet hand cream - Really enjoyed the scent, nourishing to my hand skin. Would repurchase.  ~ Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume card (didn't use the Daisy dream part since I already know I don't like it) - I like this perfume, and already own it in a full size. ~ Clean Reserve "Sueded Oud" sample - This smelled like a cigar. You could tell it

Reading Challenge December 2017

I'm going to try out an incentive system for buying makeup products. For every 100 pages I read, I get $1 towards non-replacement purchases. So far, I'm starting in the negatives. My fiance has also issued a bonus challenge - he'll give me $3 for every mile I run. For my current fitness abilities, I'm doing $3 per mile exercised (I'm currently working off of a walk/run interval program). Hopefully, I'll be able to replace buying makeup with more fulfilling hobbies. Purchases: ~ Anastasia Beverly Hills 7B eyebrow brush: I got this with my December Sephora coupon. The other item was a gift, so it won't be included in the total; also it was for a Secret Santa with a $25 limit, so assuming the other one was $25, this is the balance: $3.43 ~ Becca Rose Quartz highlight: I really wanted this last year, but held out and regretted it. So when it came back recently, I just got it. With tax, it was $40.01  ~ Algenist Genius Sampler Set: I've gotten a few foil
