I picked mostly-untouched shadows last month, so I don't have a lot of progress to show. I'm anticipating a few months of "Hark! A dip!" as I dig into my UD Naked shadows. Anyway, here's how the first month went.
~ Lorac Mega Pro 3 "Dark Navy" - ha. It's a good thing I intentionally only put this in to "see how much use I'll get out of it over a month" because the answer is: not much. It's a) not really a color I use regularly and b) kinda patchy. I used it maybe two or three times, which is two or three more times than I otherwise would have used it.
~ Urban Decay Naked "Darkhorse" and "Toasted" - "Darkhorse" is another shade I intended to use for a month, then rotate out. I used it to darken my outer corner and once or twice as a liner. "Toasted," on the other hand, was my all-over lid shade for pretty much every look I did. It currently looks like I rubbed my finger over it a bunch of times, but no real progress.
~ Urban Decay Naked "Naked" - Hark! A dip! I've been using this as my transition shade and as my lower lashline base, so I've been able to concentrate in a smaller spot than the other shades. The way these shadows are packed in, both this shade and "Toasted" are going to take me a long while.
~ Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam "Burnt Orange" - The sunlight really washed this out, but it's been my crease shade this past month. It has a powdery formula, so I anticipated more progress than I've made. In reality, it only takes a light dusting with my brush to get the desired pigmentation from it. So this might also be here a while.
Since "Darkhorse" and "Dark Navy" are moving on after this month, I got to randomly choose two more shades to work on for this next month.
~ Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Palette by Mario "Muse" - As you can see, this already has some pan showing. I'll be using this for just the next month and then it will rotate back out. I haven't really used this palette much since it was my Pan that Palette last year, so it will be good to show this palette a bit of love.
~ Lorac Pro "Pewter" - I already have a large dip in this one, so I can hopefully hit a little bit of pan in the next month. Famous last words, I know. Especially since this is the one lonely cool-toned shade. We'll see.
