This project is part of my effort to get visible progress out of my makeup. I randomly selected five shadows to start, and as soon as I reach my goal (usually hitting pan), I can rotate in a different randomly-selected shadow. Here's how I did over the past month:
1 & 2) "Sin" and "Naked" from Urban Decay Naked palette - Yep, these will be here forever. Honestly, I'm considering moving out "Naked" next month if I don't hit pan by the next update. Six months is long enough to make significant progress, I think. I'm still chipping away at "Sin" by using it for my inner corner highlight, and it usually works well for that. It's just a little too cool for the colors I'm working with for lid shades, but I'm making it work.
3) "Chauffeur" from Colourpop Yes Please palette - I'm personally getting a little sick of the orange look, but I've been getting compliments when I wear it. Only from cashiers and possibly because it's so dang fluorescent that they can't help but comment, but I take kind words where I can get 'em so I have no complaints. I've been using a sponge applicator for this, and it's been working nicely.
4) "Rose Quartz" from Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry palette - This came into the project last month, so there's little progress to show. I've been using a sponge applicator for this shade as well, and I find that it offers better pigmentation with less fallout. I'm learning that this palette bugs me in that the shimmers don't go well together. They are all individual lid shades.

5) "Burnt Orange" from Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam palette - I saved the best for last - I finally hit pan! I mostly used this in the crease, and I started using it as a base for Chauffeur to give it a more solid orange color.
Because I hit pan on a shade this past month, I'm rolling in a new shade: "Light My World" from the Sydney Grace bundle I purchased recently. This is one of my newest shadows, so I'm excited to get to know it, but I don't think I want to commit to hitting pan. This shade will be in for the next month, then it'll rotate back out. It's the gold shade at the bottom; kindly ignore the giant contour pan on the top.
Here's the entire color palette I'll be working with. It's getting a little less cohesive than it has been in months past, so we'll see what I'm able to come up with.
My goals for next month are
- hit pan on "Naked"
- make visible progress on "Light My World" before it gets rotated out
